Do you have a variable contract for electricity (and gas)? Then you can always cancel it free of charge. Have you opted for a 1-year fixed rate and are you cancelling within one year? In that case, it is possible we charge a cancellation penalty. More information about the cancellation fee can be found at our website.
We would love to see you never leave! But if you leave Vrijopnaam for any reason, you can always terminate your contract. No hard feelings!
Please consider our notice period of 5 working days. If you are switching to another supplier, they will arrange the switch. In all other cases you can contact us by phone (085 - 30 32 652) or by e-mail.
If you have opted for a fixed rate, it is possible that we will charge you a cancellation fee on your final bill. With the variable or dynamic rate there are no costs involved in terminating your contract.
Bij een vast contract veranderen je tarieven niet tot dit contract afloopt. Daarna ga je automatisch naar een variabel maandtarief. Één maand voor de start van deze maand publiceren we de tarieven in de Vrijopnaam-app. Je vindt de tarieven in het menu (rechtsboven) onder ‘contract en tarieven’.

Vrijopnaam’s mission is to enable everyone to produce their own solar power. That’s why we offer 'Panelenopnaam' to our customers. These are solar panels that are not mounted on domestic rooftops, but placed in collective solar fields operated by Vrijopnaam.
A single Paneelopnaam costs € 99. With this Paneelopnaam, you are entitled to a minimum yield of 250
kWh per panel per year, for a period of 9 years. The yield of your
Paneelopnaam gets settled on your annual statement. The value of this
power equals your own Vrijopnaam power commodity price, with a maximum
of € 0,08 per kWh. The supply rate is the rate of Vrijopnaam excluding VAT and energy tax.
